Beginning in January 2024, educators whose licenses are expiring 6/30/2024, can apply for renewal in the
NMPED licensure portal. Please review Quick Link resources to the right.
In lieu of the signed Superintendent Form, PED allows the District to add renewing staff members names to an Approved Renewal List. Current CCSD staff with licenses expiring 6/30/2024 will be added to this list. Staff will receive an email to confirm this. Please DO NOT contact Mr. Carlson directly for renewal.
*The Professional Licensure Bureau cannot process incomplete applications. Incomplete applications will be returned. WAIT FOR THE EMAIL CONFIRMING YOU ARE ADDED TO THE APPROVED LIST PRIOR TO SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. Please be patient as I need some time to add all the names to the list.
Note:
- Level 1 teacher licenses are non-renewable. These licenses are advanced via a dossier or micro-credentials.
- Alternative licenses are non-renewable. The program must be completed or an extension request must be submitted. Information for these processes will come in April. DO NOT submit a renewal application.
- Level 1 secondary-vocational technical licenses in the 3rd year are renewed by submitting documents to PED. DO NOT submit a renewal application.
