Tanya Amrine, M.A.
Human Resources Coordinator
Tl’ááshchí’í ni’lii , Bílagáana yash’chiin , Naakaii dine’é da bii chei , Bílagáana da bii nali. Tanya Amrine and her family live in Cortez, CO on a hay farm--the same farm where she was raised. Tanya started at Central Consolidated in the Human Resources Department in 2016. She attended Fort Lewis College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with a minor in Early Childhood Education. Her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Special Education Administration is from the University of Northern Colorado. Tanya has teaching and administrative licenses in New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona. Prior to CCSD, she taught 13 years in the classroom--mostly Preschool--and she also taught Kindergarten, First Grade Reading and Second Grade. In 2009, Tanya began working in education administration. Her career includes work in public school, grant school, federal school, higher education, and tribal education systems. A great day in the office includes helping staff and working alongside our fabulous HR Team!
Marlena Harvey
Human Resources Supervisor
Yá’át’ééh! Marlena Harvey yíníshyé. Tódich’ii’nii nishli, Tá’baahá báshíshchíín, Áshiihí dashicheii, Bit’ahi’nii dashina’li. Marlena Harvey is originally from the Upper Fruitland area located on the Navajo Reservation. She currently works in the HR Dept with CCSD for over 4 years. Her previous work experiences include working as a HR Benefits Specialist and Employee Health & Wellness Specialist. Prior to working for CCSD, she worked for I.H.S at Northern Navajo Medical Center for 8 years, in Administration and a non-profit hospital at San Juan Regional Medical Center in the HR Dept. She earned her BS through University of Phoenix and MBA through New Mexico Highlands University. Marlena enjoys working for CCSD, using her skills in every effort to uphold the department’s strategies and goals to provide customer services to all stakeholders, and working with her team in the HR Dept. Her time is spent, after working hours with family, traveling, outdoor hiking, gardening, pursuing her educational goals, and many other activities.
Melinda "Lynn" Farley
Human Resources Specialist
Bit’ahnii ni’lii, Tlizi’lani yash’chiin, Hozea’ Tachchinii da bii chei, Ashiihi da bii nali. Melinda Farley, known as Lynn Farley, calls Red Mesa, Utah her home. She is the Human Resource Specialist here at CCSD. This is her 5th year. She worked with the Exceptional Programs Office before transferring to this department. She has been working in the educational field for over 30 years. Her past experiences ranged from clerical, warehouse, property inventory, Finance, budget, and Human Resources, to name a few. Lynn now specializes in processing new hires, transfers, and separations while providing direct communication with applicants, staff, and department leaders. She enjoys working with the department and the staff throughout CCSD. Lynn looks forward to meeting new people and hopes their experience with CCSD and HR is positive and rewarding.
Suzanna George
Human Resources Specialist
Ya’at’teeh. HooghanLani Ni’lii, Ashiihi yash’chiin, Ashiihi dabicheii, KinLichii’nii dabinali. Suzanna recently joined the Human Resources team, and previously worked with the Native American Disability Law Center. As the Confidential Clerical team member, she assists the onboarding team with new hires, background checks and job vacancies. Suzanna has always made customer service a priority in her career and enjoys meeting new people and making them feel welcomed. She is looking forward to her future years within the CCSD family and growing with the amazing HR team she is a part of.
Arielle John
Human Resources Benefit Specialist
Ma’ii Deeshgiizhnii nishli, Ta’chiinii bashishchiin, Bit’aahni dashicheii, Tabaahi dashinali. Arielle John is from Rock Point, Arizona. She served six years in the United States Air Force as a Knowledge Operations Manager. Arielle and her family moved home from Florida and became residents of New Mexico in 2017. Arielle is currently pursuing her degree in Business Administration through San Juan College. With her USAF professional experience and knowledge; she joined the Human Resources Department in 2017 as a Human Resources Clerical. Arielle is currently the Benefit Specialist for CCSD and oversees the benefits program for our District. She enjoys working with our employees and their families to provide the important information and assistance on our offered benefits. Arielle values our employees and would like to ensure our employees receive the best health care benefits for themselves and their families. Arielle is committed to providing the best customer service to all our customers and looks forward to working with our district staff and community.
Shayne Tsosie
Human Resources Specialist
Shayne Tsosie is an HR Specialist who has been with the Human Resources Department since May 2019. She has previously been in the accounting field for 18 years with a Non-Profit Organization. Shayne works with vacancies, unemployment claims, volunteers, on-boarding casual athletic/substitute bus drivers, financial secretary in purchasing, background checks, separations, and transfers. Shayne was born and raised in Shiprock, NM and currently resides in Aztec, NM. She is Navajo/Hopi, her clan is K’ae (Corn) . She loves working with the Human Resources team and alongside all staff of CCSD.
Twila Benally
Human Resources Confidential Clerical
Twila J. Benally is the Human Resources Confidential Clerical at Central Consolidated School District. She comes from an Early Childhood Education background. She enjoys watching baseball and traveling. She is excited to be a part of a great team here at CCSD.
Linda L. Costner
Human Resources Confidential Clerical Linda L. Costner has recently joined the Human Resources team as a Confidential Clerical after working at Kirtland Middle School for 18 years. She is excited to be part of the HR Team and welcomes the new challenges. Linda was raised in Hong Kong and graduated from St. Stephen’s College. She received her executive secretarial training from Sara Beattie College for professionals. Soon after, she went to BYU Hawaii to further her education in business management. Linda is proud of the solid customer service that she provided for students, parents, teachers, administrators and her Kirtland community while she was a registrar at Kirtland Middle School. She is committed to learning her new role in the HR department, to better provide effective service to her team and meet the department’s goals. When she has leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves cooking, gardening and making flower arrangements.
