Ya’at’eeh Parents, Grandparents, and Relatives:

I hope that this letter finds you well and you are enjoying the winter weather!

As we head toward our Thanksgiving break, I want to take a moment to introduce myself as your new Principal of Naschitti Elementary School:

Ahe’hee - Thank you for allowing us to be with your children as they are growing and learning, we enjoy each day with them! We have a wonderful team here at Naschitti Elementary school. I am heartened by so much of what they do each day and have accomplished since school started. 

We will continue to work towards accomplishing our goals. I am proud of how well they are doing, the following are successful highlights: 

  • Our Fall 40th day count was great - with a 98% Attendance Score 

  • Assessment Data - Students are showing progress Overall in Reading & Math 

  • November 11 - 15, Native Heritage & Culture Celebration Week, including the crowning of our new royalty: 

    • Miss Naschitti, Kailey Sam

    • Mr. Naschitti Brave, Nizhoni Preston Etsitty

Congratulations! Our staff, parents, and community came together and showed up for one another!

I am happy to be here and I am looking forward to the wonderful time together, and finding joy, where we can. 

All in all, the sense of compassion, strength, vision, and wisdom that I feel among our staff, teachers, students, and parents brings to our school a sense of warmth, hope, and peace as we look forward to the holidays.
