We have an app for that!

Central Schools would like to announce the launch of the CCSD app by SchoolInfo, which is now available for iOS™, Android™, and Windows™ devices. The app enables parents, students and staff with the ability screen for COVID-19 before leaving home, and showing the results to the school staff or at a bus stop.

It is the goal to have all students signed up and performing a self-health screening at home in the next few weeks:
  • Parents should check their students email accounts for set-up directions.
  • Parents can enter multiple students if they have more than one student attending Central Schools.
  • Students can also register and follow the same steps if they have their own smartphones.
  • If you have not received an email with instructions, parents should reach out to their schools.

This is a requirement for all students who plan on going hybrid (in-class learning). Digital passes will need to be displayed at bus stops or school sites before the students are allowed to enter.
For a short period students who have not received the email will be required to answer a series of COVID-19 related questions and get a temperature check prior to boarding a bus or entering any CCSD buildings.
COVID-19 health screenings will be required for all staff, students and parents who intend on entering any CCSD facilities. A second temperature check other than the self-screening will be conducted at bus stops and CCSD building sites.

The app also allows the user to stay connected and informed about what’s happening at Central Schools.
