School Year 2023 - 2024

1. Newcomb Middle School will increase ELA Proficiency by 36% as measured by 2022-2023 iMSSA.

2. Newcomb Middle School will increase MATH Proficiency by 21% as measured by 2022-2023 iMSSA. 

1. Data-driven instruction - ELA.

3. High expectations in all content areas and electives. 

4. Cultural Linguistic Response (CLR) teaching and learning.

The guidance and counseling program promotes personal, social, and academic skills that are necessary to be successful. It emphasizes responsible decision making, coping strategies, self-understanding and career development.  It is an integral part of the school system's total educational program and prides itself on keeping private matters confidential.
We collaborate with Teen Life Center, San Juan Partnership, Northern Navajo Medical Center, Navajo Treatment Center for Children and Their Families, & Navajo Nation Social Services.
