Covid 19 Vaccination for Students Ages 5 to 11
COVID vaccination is now available for students as young as 5-11 years olds. Northern Navajo Medical Center’s Community Vaccination Team will be providing Flu and COVID vaccine to families at Shiprock High School every Sunday, from 8 AM to 3 PM – and also at drive-through vaccine events at local elementary schools. 
Here is the November Schedule:

  *   Sunday, November 7 – 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM– Shiprock High School
  *   Wednesday, November 10 – 3:00 PM– 5:00 PM– Newcomb Elementary School
  *   Sunday, November 14 – 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM– Shiprock High School
  *   Wednesday, November 17 – 9 AM – 11 AM – Tohaali’ Community School
  *   Sunday, November 18 – 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM - Eva B. Stokely Elementary School
  *   Sunday, November 21 – 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM– Shiprock High School
  *   Sunday, November 28 – 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM– Shiprock High School

Clinic visits and appointments just for COVID shots are now currently available for children ages 5 -11 – so families are encouraged to bring their children to these community and school vaccine events.

More events will be scheduled for other elementary schools in December.

  *   The team will have a flu vaccine available for everyone aged 3 and older.
  *   First and Second COVID shots are available for everyone aged 5 and older
  *   COVID booster shots are available for people 65 and over, and people 18 and over with high-risk health conditions or jobs.
