Starting Monday, in celebrating #VeteransDay on November 11, students can give back to our local veterans throughout the week and have an opportunity to showcase their heartfelt notes, artwork and essays on our social media platforms and surrounding businesses.
- All elementary students can create handwritten notes to thank our local veterans or family members who served.
- Middle school students may participate in an art contest and submit their artwork to have it become a flyer this year and next year.
- High School students can submit an essay describing what Veterans Day means to them, along with history and culture that may incorporate family members who have served in the military. There is no limit to how many words a student can write!
